Daniel Dalla Rosa

Clinical Director | Registered Massage Therapist | Manual Osteopathic Practitioner | Injury Rehabilitation Specialist | Neurofunctional Acupuncture Provider

After graduating from York University with a Bachelors of Arts Degree he went on to complete his Diploma of Massage Therapy at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. He further expanded his knowledge of healthcare and injury rehabilitation by completing a Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice from the National Academy of Osteopathy. His passion for sports and healthcare inspired him to open Kinetic Impressions Injury Rehabilitation & Fitness Centre. Daniel is a member of the CMTO (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario), RMTAO (Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario), CSMTA (Canadian Sports Massage Therapists Association), and ACMA (Canadian Alliance of Alternative Medicine).

Daniel also works with many high performance athletes including being involved at TMU (Toronto Metropolitan University) as the head goalkeeper coach for the varsity women’s program. He has also worked with many League 1 Ontario Soccer and OPDL athletes as well as pro athletes from the NHL, European Soccer Clubs, and NCAA varsity athletes. Daniel believes in providing personalized fitness, rehabilitation and injury prevention programs for all of his patients following current scientific literature and high quality objective based treatment outcomes to keep all of his patients and athletes performing optimally for their respective sports. Daniel also completed the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture course, and offers neurofunctional acupuncture and dry needling as a service to her clients. 

Daniel believes that incorporating hands on techniques combined with exercise and modalities to not only treat and manage your pain but prevent recurring injury that will allow you to move optimally and get you back to what you do best. 

Emely Zuniga

Registered Massage Therapist | Injury Rehabilitation Specialist | Neurofunctional Acupuncture Provider

After graduating from Sheridan College with a Bachelors of Science (Kinesiology) she went on to pursue her Diploma of Massage Therapy at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. Emely is a member of the CMTO (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario), RMTAO (Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario).

Emely is passionate about helping others obtain their goals and improving their overall function and is trained in injury rehabilitation and sports related injuries. She is also trained in pre and post-natal pregnancy massage therapy. Utilizing modalities, rehabilitative exercises and her massage therapy techniques, Emely creates and walks her patients through step-by-step personalized treatment plans to get them back to optimal functioning and prevent future injury. Emely also completed the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture course, and offers neurofunctional acupuncture and dry needling as a service to her clients.

Dr. Antonio Petrolo

Chiropractor

Dr. Petrolo is a graduate of the Canadian Chiropractic College with Summa Cum Laude and Clinical Honours. Antonio is presently completing his Sports Sciences Residency, an intensive post-graduate fellowship involving specialized training in the Sports Sciences, conducting research in sports, as well as teaching/instructing current chiropractic students. Dr. Petrolo is a member of the CCO (College of Chiropractors of Ontario) as well as the RCCSS (Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences).

Dr. Petrolo is also part of the York United FC professional soccer club as part of their medical team, monitoring the health, fitness, performance statistics, and wellness for the athletes. Although Dr. Petrolo spends much time working with high performance athletes, he is a firm believer in providing elite care for all of his patients, regardless of their occupation. Every individual patient is unique and important to him, and using objective assessment and diagnostic skills he guides his patients towards proper diagnosis and recovery so that they can achieve their goals and aspirations whether that be getting back to gardening, playing with their kids, or performing at the highest level of their sport.

Giovanni Avvenente

Registered Physiotherapist

Giovanni Avvenente is a highly motivated Physiotherapist who graduated from Queens University with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2019. Since then he has been working with a very diverse patient population, from general population to weekend warriors. Giovanni is well versed in creating customized rehabilitation/treatment plans for various high performance athletes including soccer, basketball, gymnastics (artistic & rhythmic), and swimming, allowing them to return to the sport they love stronger and pain free. Giovanni has further expanded his knowledge of rehabilitation by pursuing many courses on vestibular rehab, manual therapy, soft tissue release and acupuncture.

Giovanni is committed to an evidence-based practice and by using objective outcome measures allows him to provide his patients with personalized treatment plans, incorporating exercise and modalities, to help him reach their goals.

Giovanni has also played within the Ontario Basketball Association and earned a number of scholarships through bowling. He believes that the qualities developed when being passionate about anything from sports to exercise to personal hobbies, translates his approach towards patient’s goals and he reciprocates the same passion when providing care.

Abigail Nguyen

Certified Athletic Therapist (Provisional)

Abigail graduated from Sheridan College with a Bachelor’s in Athletic Therapy. Throughout her time there, she has worked with CFL’s Ottawa REDBLACKS, St. Andrew’s College, Upper Canada College, and the University of Toronto Mississauga. Abigail is a current member of the CATA (Canadian Athletic Therapists Association).  

Abigail loves helping others – her goal is to provide personalized quality care to your specific needs and help you unlock your best self through patient-centered treatment plans by using evidence-based modality, manual, and therapeutic exercise practice. As a Certified First Responder, she is also well equipped in emergency situations and has experience in a wide range of sports from football, basketball, hockey, soccer, volleyball, and lacrosse. Abigail not only works with athletes, but people of all ages and occupations.

Celia Palombella

Registered Kinesiologist | Athletic Therapy Student

After graduating from the University of Guelph-Humber with a Bachelors of Science (Kinesiology) she continued her interest in sports related injuries and training high performance athletes by enrolling in the Sheridan College Athletic Therapy Degree Program. Celia is a current member of the CKO (College of Kinesiologists of Ontario), and the OKA (Ontario Kinesiology Association).

Celia’s passion for sports and fitness has allowed her to develop a specialization in creating unique injury rehabilitation exercise program for her patients as well as guiding her clients towards their fitness goals. Celia is well versed in on-site medical coverage and first aid, which has developed her abilities as a therapist as well as being involved in many different leagues for a wide range of sports understanding how each athlete’s body moves and functions. Celia has also worked with teams for fitness testing and periodization exercise for athletes at all levels of competition. She has worked with OPDL and League 1 soccer athletes to help them perform at the elite level.
