Daniel Dalla Rosa

Clinical Director | Registered Massage Therapist | Manual Osteopathic Practitioner | Injury Rehabilitation Specialist | Neurofunctional Acupuncture Provider

Meet Daniel, the Clinic Owner, Director, and a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) / Osteopath at Kinetic Impressions Injury Rehabilitation & Fitness Centre. His profound passion for sports and healthcare led to the establishment of the center. Daniel holds memberships with reputable organizations such as CMTO (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario), RMTAO (Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario), CSMTA (Canadian Sports Massage Therapists Association), and ACMA (Canadian Alliance of Alternative Medicine).

Working closely with athletes from League 1 Ontario Soccer, OPDL, NHL, European Soccer Clubs, and NCAA varsity, Daniel is dedicated to providing personalized fitness, rehabilitation, and injury prevention programs. Drawing from current scientific literature and high-quality objective-based treatment outcomes, he ensures that patients and athletes perform optimally in their respective sports. Daniel has further expanded his expertise by completing the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture course, offering neurofunctional acupuncture and dry needling as additional services.

Believing in a holistic approach, Daniel combines hands-on techniques, targeted exercises, and modalities to not only treat and manage pain but also prevent recurring injuries. His focus is on optimizing movement and facilitating a swift return to peak performance for every patient and athlete.

Emely Zuniga

Registered Massage Therapist | Injury Rehabilitation Specialist | Neurofunctional Acupuncture Provider

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Sheridan College, Emely pursued her passion for healthcare by obtaining a Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. As a dedicated professional, Emely is a proud member of the CMTO (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario) and RMTAO (Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario).

Emely’s commitment lies in assisting individuals in achieving their goals and enhancing overall function. She specializes in injury rehabilitation and sports-related injuries, showcasing expertise in pre and post-natal pregnancy massage therapy. Emely employs a comprehensive approach, integrating modalities, rehabilitative exercises, and massage therapy techniques. She is adept at crafting personalized treatment plans, guiding patients through step-by-step processes to restore optimal functioning and prevent future injuries. Emely has also expanded her skill set by completing the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture course, offering neurofunctional acupuncture and dry needling as additional services to her clients.

Dr. Antonio Petrolo


Dr. Antonio Petrolo is a distinguished graduate of the Canadian Chiropractic College, achieving Summa Cum Laude and Clinical Honours. Currently immersed in his Sports Sciences Residency, Dr. Petrolo is undergoing intensive post-graduate training focused on specialized education in the Sports Sciences. This involves conducting research in sports and contributing to the instruction of current chiropractic students. A dedicated member of the CCO (College of Chiropractors of Ontario) and the RCCSS (Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences), Dr. Petrolo brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Petrolo plays a vital role in the medical team of the York United FC professional soccer club. Within this capacity, he monitors the health, fitness, performance statistics, and overall wellness of the athletes. Despite his involvement with high-performance athletes, Dr. Petrolo is deeply committed to providing elite care to all his patients, irrespective of their occupation. Recognizing the uniqueness of each individual, he utilizes objective assessments and diagnostic skills to guide patients towards accurate diagnoses and effective recovery. Driven by the belief that every patient’s goals and aspirations are significant, whether it involves returning to gardening, engaging with their children, or excelling in their chosen sport, Dr. Petrolo is devoted to facilitating their journey to optimal health and performance.

Giovanni Avvenente

Registered Physiotherapist

Giovanni Avvenente is a highly motivated Physiotherapist who earned his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Queens University in 2019. Since then, he has demonstrated his expertise by working with a diverse patient population, ranging from the general public to weekend warriors. Giovanni specializes in creating personalized rehabilitation and treatment plans for a variety of high-performance athletes, including those in soccer, basketball, gymnastics (both artistic and rhythmic), and swimming. His goal is to empower these athletes to return to their respective sports stronger and free from pain.

Giovanni’s commitment to continuous learning is evident through his pursuit of various courses in vestibular rehabilitation, manual therapy, soft tissue release, and acupuncture. He firmly believes in an evidence-based practice, utilizing objective outcome measures to tailor personalized treatment plans for his patients. These plans incorporate a combination of targeted exercises and modalities to help individuals achieve their unique goals.

Beyond his professional achievements, Giovanni’s personal experiences include playing within the Ontario Basketball Association and earning scholarships through bowling. He understands the qualities developed through passion, whether in sports, exercise, or personal hobbies, and integrates this same enthusiasm into his approach to helping patients achieve their goals.

Abigail Nguyen

Certified Athletic Therapist

Abigail is a dedicated professional who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College. Her educational journey has been marked by significant contributions to high-performance and college-level sports, collaborating with esteemed organizations such as the CFL’s Ottawa RedBlacks, St. Andrews College, Upper Canada College, the University of Toronto Mississauga, League 1 Ontario, and the OPDL. As a Certified First Responder and active member of the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association (CATA), Abigail brings a wealth of expertise to her practice.

Her hands-on experience covers a diverse range of sports, including football, basketball, soccer, hockey, volleyball, and lacrosse. Abigail’s treatment philosophy extends beyond the athletic realm, as she actively collaborates with individuals from various occupations and age groups.

What sets Abigail apart is her unique treatment style, providing personalized, high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of her patients. With a comprehensive understanding of injury prevention, rehabilitation, and strength conditioning, she empowers her patients to unlock their best selves. Abigail achieves this by implementing evidence-based modalities, manual therapy, soft tissue therapies, and targeted therapeutic exercises, allowing her patients to achieve their goals and reach their peak potential.

Celia Palombella

Registered Kinesiologist | Athletic Therapy Student

Celia is a dedicated professional who holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Guelph-Humber. Building on her passion for sports-related injuries and the training of high-performance athletes, she pursued further education in the Athletic Therapy Degree Program at Sheridan College. Celia is an active member of the CKO (College of Kinesiologists of Ontario) and the OKA (Ontario Kinesiology Association).

Drawing on her profound love for sports and fitness, Celia has honed her skills in creating specialized injury rehabilitation exercise programs for her patients, while also guiding clients towards their fitness goals. With a comprehensive understanding of on-site medical coverage and first aid, she has enhanced her therapeutic abilities. Celia’s involvement in various leagues across a wide range of sports has provided her with valuable insights into the unique movements and functions of each athlete’s body.

Celia’s expertise extends to working with teams, where she conducts fitness testing and develops periodization exercises for athletes across all levels of competition. Her experience includes collaborating with OPDL and League 1 soccer athletes, assisting them in achieving peak performance at the elite level. Celia’s commitment to the field is evident through her continuous pursuit of excellence in sports therapy and fitness.
